Seriously? It's the small silly tiny little issues that gave GM products a bad name in the 80's and 90's.

If you let the little things fall thru the cracks, pretty soon you have a pile of dung under the floor .

Most of the cars that have power at an auto show are plugged in underneath the car usually to the building's power supply. And usually those cars will only perform specific functions i.e. your XLR demonstration. If you look under the car you will see a box (probably some type of computer chip) and the plug in.

Is it just me or does this 2SS have cloth inserts on the dash where the colored plastic strip should go?

If I remember the conversation we had with Scott at Indy...it's the angles of the body. Looking at lots of "quick" pictures, you'll see a difference in the front fascia and the body. Optical illusion.

i highly doubt it. the 2SS has the plastic panels on the doors & dash because the ABL needs the plastic ones to shine through

Looks like the 1SS gets the cloth covered ip/door accents. Personally, that's the only part of the cloth interior I don't care for.

I like the painted 2SS accents. Of course there will be aftermarket accents available some time after launch.

I know all that but it looks like this particular 2SS model has cloth accents. For all those who aren't buying 2LT or 2SS cars (cloth seats), I believe you will be able to purchase the colored plastic panels and install in your cars. There will be no lighting of course but they will be a nice option to the cloth accent panels.

cloth panels for non 2LT/2SS... seriously ? that's pretty tacky. why would they do that? i can understand not getting the ambient lighting, but giving it cloth panels? come on

This is something I'm going to seriously consider on my 1SS/RS.
