Thank you all for your comments. I still believe the club should have a name so it is easily recognized by our fans. I believe it even more after having read the thread on the Hawesbury car show. It is absurd to think that giving a name to our club would limit us in any way. The intention is not to change the way we function right now. I understand that you may not want to be a participant to any club and you do not have to. I respect everyone's opinion.
For most of you, the season is already over. In my case (and maybe for some others too), my car is my passion and a lifestyle that I pursue year round. If someone wants to continue to meet people, discover and enjoy new destinations, it would be nice if that opportunity exists. I do not intend to use my car as a collectible and go only to car shows. My car is the representation of my lifestyle. As usual, I am planning an activity for the weekend. I am willing to share it with anyone interested. The details will be posted under the social group "Ottawa-Gatineau 5 Gen Camaro Club" (I may change that name a little later).
