You should come out to the 808 Camaro show at JN Chevrolet on Saturday. I am sure you could find a ride for Sunday.

I had fun. Only V6'r in a sea of 50+ V-8 brothers but it was all good. I should have brought my 2000 Z28 too. Taz can fill you in on the chili though as I got too full on the other food.

By the way are there any V-8's in the Mililani (or close too) area? I wanted to look at your MAF compared to mine. Let me know please. If not I'll try to make it to the cruise on Saturday at Windward Mall.

Anyone interested in Autocrossing? Next race is this Sunday at Aloha Stadium. I've been doing it just under a year now and its great however, I am running my 2000 Z28 for that. Let me know if anyone is interested. Usually there are a couple of Camaros (4th gen) and about 1/2 dozen Mustangs. The last race someone rented a 2010 SS and came to the track. I believe he was a novice though and I was so tempted to ask him to let me fun run his car but didn't. Just an outlet to let some speed out.

Sting808...you interested? Need to put those coilover to the test!

Kreature, Where are you on your mods? I am still considering the coilovers but trying to work some other issues out. I forgot if you had exhaust. I just got in a set of Doug Thorley shorties but not sure I will install them. I did put the high flow cats in from Solo. Let me know. Z

So far im in limbo. Still deciding on alot of things. I was thinking about getting BBK long tube headers but from what i understood, it will throw a CEL and require a tune, which im not sure i want to do. Do the shorties throw a CEL?

Also let me know how your coilovers go, still interested in your Pfadt springs.
also craig, if you need that gloss black vinyl, hit me up when you need them.

Check the threads for the Doug Thorley, supposedly the short-tube headers do not throw a CEL since they are in front of the cats. I changed to the Solo hi flow cats which had extenders in the back sensor which is suppose to prevent a CEL.

By the way, if you are interested in the Tune, let me know. I think I can work something our with Trifecta. Then you can choose any LT headers and will improve your shift points.

I want to test the car, although the driver is a novice. I'll come out one of these days. This weekend, will be changing out the DRLs for fog lights and rewiring the front end. Too much AAC P13Ws blown, 5 sets so far.

FYI, windward mall cruises suspended. I heard new management wanted $1 mil liability insurance coverage.

Looks like mililani and aikahi are only ones left.

hmm, decisions, decisions.... i think im just going to go for the BBKs. If im gonna change my headers i might as well do it right. My list of mods in the future will be lowering springs, aftermarket body kit (hopefully one will show during this year's SEMA), BBK long tubes, and lastly some gorgeous and absolutely stunning Vossen VVS CV1 rims lol.

Wow sting you went through 5 sets!? i thought mines was bad when i went through 3 broken footwell tubes.

Finally caved in and got fog light housings and the wiring harness. I hated blowing the p13w anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months. Got fieldgoals ver 1 harness and adding a fused dual relay setup. It's interesting that everything I suggested they added to the new version of harness to address safety and GMs usage for pwm for auto mode. They initially tried to keep the cost down. Understandable since it is on the pricier side.

In retrospect, should've bought the adaptive harness for the oem connectors and made my own harness. I don't like splicing into factory wiring if I can find a more elegant solution. We'll see if eliminating the pwm auto mode source is the single cause for all my bulbs going bad. Got aac's 5202 led bulb version in replacement for the p13w.

Got 25 watt 5202 HID coming in a week or so as another option. My anal retentive, OCD behavior is going into overdrive.

Good luck to you Sting. Lucky mine didn't come with fogs/DRL's so I just went with BFexenon which was a complete plug and play HID fog. Let me know when you are ready for SCCA!

Kreature, sounds like a great plan. I'll probably decide on the coil overs by November. I'll let you know.

Too bad about Windward Mall. I think the Hawaii Kai cruises are still scheduled to be run.

And yes, I will be at SEMA. Anyone else?
