I went with 275/40-20 up front on 9.5x20 wheels & 315/35-20 on rear on 11x20 wheels.
I went with Vredestein Sessanta tires. Was also thinking Nitto Invos On tires, remember to stay at or real close to stock height. If not, it will effect speedo, ride height, and scraping stuff under your car. 315's match the 275 tire diameter. You can lower or raise your car by the tire diameter, sometimes that's not a good thing. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62838

You're talking about aftermarket wheels?? I don't think you'll want to try to go that big on the OEM wheels.
btw, the 315's on 11" wheels look awesome on the car. That's what the Camaro should look like...

looking at the chart, with OEM wheels there are no options other than 275's for the rear :(

Side wall must be as perpendicular to the wheel face as possible... oversizing and undersizing tires is dangerous as the tire bead does not seat correctly in the rim bead lock. stick to stock sizing, unless you get wider wheels, then increase trad width and resuce aspect ratio.

Honestly, the factory rear 9.0" wide wheels are already on the narrow side for the factory 275 tire. The 275 tire is actually perfect for a 9.5" wide wheel. Will a wider tire fit? Sure. Will it be safe, or handle as well? Not likely. Of course, if you never like to take turns at speed, then it probably won't matter.
