Flowmaster american thunder.. good decision?

I have a 1SS and just bought a flowmaster american thunder cat back last night for it.. I listened to some sound clips on youtube and it sounds pretty sweet from what I can tell. Does anyone have this setup on their '10 SS? Do you like it? The only other mods I have is a k&n aircharger & diablosport tune. Any noticable performance gain from the stock exhaust?

Some people complain about the drone in aftermarket exhausts.. but imo you bought a camaro for a reason - to sound like a performance car! if you want it to sound like a Buick Lacrosse, then buy one

Amen! I have the GMPP "Off-Road" (yeah, off-road ... my ass!) system with a Edelbrock x-pipe on my A6 and it is definitely not loud enough ...

I have had Flowmasters on everything else I own ... if I didn't get this system for a killer deal, I would have went that way too ....

I have the FlowMaster AT with a set of Doug Thorley shorty headers and an Airaid CAI ... The sound is amazing, I have a hard time keeping my foot out of it ... And yes there was a difference in the feel of power as well. It's feels like a lot more torque down low ...

Spoken like a true teenager.

One could also say, you paid how much for ONLY a different sound?

I bought a Camaro SS for the performance, not to make it sound like a stock car. To each his own though. I'm sure you'll love it, for a while at least.

I have FLOWMASTERS on my 55 Chevy and I love the sound once they get warm. Just happen to call a local muffler shop to inquire about Flowmasters to get a quote. Hope to find out by tomorrow. The young lady on the phone stated that one of the mechanics had a 2010 installed there version of mufflers on his car. I am going friday to listen to them.
