Good choice on the wheel.
The choice of what you use to clean it will be the biggest part of keeping them scratch free. A natural fiber boars hair brush (like the one linked by Iomcamaro) is a good place to start. Its the softest natural fiber available and the safest kind for use on delicate wheels. Use a heavy blast of water to dislodge larger particles from the surface before you start cleaning. Use a highly concentrated mixture of soap and water to clean them with the brush... more soap and bubbles is better to promote maximum surface lubricity and protecting the wheels finish. |
