How do you guys survive the wait for your new Camaro to come in? It's been three weeks since I ordered mine and the wait is just killing me. I'm going out of my way to drive by the dealership every other day just to see the other Camaros parked on the lot. ARRGGHHH!!!

*Please* be here this weekend...

Go to the tracking threads for therapy! I remember the wait, seemed like an eternity. But trust me, it's all forgotten once you take delivery.

Hang in there, it'll come!

At least the wait is much shorter than it used to be....when we ordered our car (June 2009) we had to wait until September to get our car and the wait just about killed us....then they used to put stripes on at the dealer and they messed up one so we had to wait another week for the stripe package to come in and new stripe to be put on before we could take delivery....it's a much faster process now even though it doesn't seem that way...

Once you get the car it is WELL worth the wait!

Use this time to check up on the mods people have made and get acquainted with how to take car of your car.

Good luck and hopefully your car comes very soon.

patience my friend, patience. good things come to those who wait. Imagine the guys that pre-ordered the first day available. some waited close to a year! phew, agony.

You guys have no idea what a long wait is. 7 month wait here too. Be patient, read camaro5 and learn. By the time your Camaro gets here you'll know all you need to and have a wish list a mile long.

Patience my friend. I waited from 10/13/08 until 5/20/09 for my SS. I waited from 2/14/02 until 5/23/02 for my 2002 SS. The thing that will help you have patience is knowing that when you order a car, you will be getting the exact car that you want, not a high priced compromise. In 98, I wanted an SS but I bought a Z28 off of the lot and for 4 years I regretted my impatience. Hang in there, it will arrive.

Yeah, I've been practically living on the forums here since I ordered the car. :-) I've been reading the manual, researching and deciding on mods, etc.

Thankfully the car is only coming in from another dealership and not from the factory. I can't believe some of you guys had to wait seven months! This would be me, if that were the case:
