Did anyone see any mention of the ambient lighting?

I hear there are still a couple technical issues they are working out....one of them being the ambient lighting (as ya'll have heard and read in the previous car show thread where someone turned it on and someone else threatened to ...well, you remember ).

I'm confident that it'll be ready for production.

If not....I'm breaking out my OWN baseball bat!!!

Perhaps a better link... http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/dom...ID=8035&type=0 That one provides a bit more user friendly interface than just generating a big pdf to all the info.

I know.......its not a big deal to me either, but it just seems really cool. One of those things that will wow people (and me) when we see it.

Nothing major new there. I was disappointed to see that although the Brembos are still unique to the SS, the 20" polished aluminums aren't any longer....1 & 2LTs can now get them if they also order the RS Package. I was hoping they'd keep the SS more distinctively different from the 6-bangers.

2SS/RS Black/Black w-Cyber Gray stripes/Auto - ordered 10/18/08 - Polished Aluminums added 12/1/08

Updates for (2010) Camaro
Week of 12/22/2008
Effective 12/22/2008, the following changes will be made to the Vehicle Order Guide:

Mechanical section-(NB8) Emissions override, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island or Washington, changed description to read "Emissions override, California (allows a dealer in states that require California emissions ¿ California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island or Washington ¿ to order Federal emissions for a vehicle that will be registered in a state that has Federal emission requirements). Do not use for vehicles that will be registered in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island or Washington."
Mechanical section-(NC7) Emissions override, Federal, changed description to read "Emissions override, Federal (for vehicles ordered by dealers in Federal emission states with (YF5) or (NE1) emissions ¿ Not required for vehicles being shipped to California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont or Washington)".

I went to the site today. it is actually dated for Monday the 22nd.

Nothing exciting, but at least they are still "alive" and "active".

Also, the GM Launch site has an update as well, but don't want to access the "subscribe for updates" section until I talk to the right preople, and get the "OK"

Excellent link.... Mucho info, I do wonder why they have" TBD" to be determined for the horsepower rating though on the link H2OTOYS found.

Brake Cooling Slots

Did anybody else notice in the "Exterior" section, that it mentions the "Brake Cooling Slots"??
Do they mean the lower part of the front grill, or the slots on the rear L&R sides??

Pretty sure just the front as the rear gills aren't functional.

Anyone know what the details are on RPO# P43 vs RPO# SGC.???

And then what is tire inflater RPO # SCC ?

Which one gets you the pump and hose in place of a spare?
