The iron block Hemi is a boat anchor in the weight dept. If the 5.7L had an aluminium block then the R/T's curb weight would be just about 3990lbs loaded and without passenger (mine, without me, was 4,080 lbs). Throw in a lighter exhaust and tube exhaust manifolds stock (like the 5.0 has) and you would see a Challenger R/T with a curb of 3950 pounds, just a shade under the L99 SS.

The SE weighs in stock at 3,819...about 80 lbs more than my 1LT.

Has anyone heard any more on this.

The new SRT-8 is going to be 484hp I believe they are also getting a price increase as well...

I was at the SRT track experience and the guys there told me that the SRT10 will not be produced. There is a concept built though.
