Sweet! I love this idea and immediately did my drivers side. I never had issue with neck pain or headaches but just feel of the shoulder strap rubbing my skin. Very annoying and irritating to say the least! Appreciate this solution!

Now if there was a way or means to keep that damn strap from unsnapping when you go to put on the seatbelt, this of course before you solution.

that the greatest easiest most functional mod yet. I wouldn't doubt if a vendor starts making and selling these soon.

Thanks for the idea.. I'll have to find some strapping to try it out. I'm 5' 4" and am always having to move the strap over from my neck to my shoulder... so annoying!

Might have to give this a try, had the same problem with my '02 Monte. In the Camaro it seems to be worse depending on what material my shirt/jacket is made of.

That is a perfect, low cost fix! I found some strap pieces I had from a carrying case, and am doing it now!
The seat belt rubbing your neck is usually more with how low your seat is. I am almost 6', and have the seat pretty low for head clearance. A shorter person might have the seat higher, and not have the belt rubbing. I also must have a fairly long torso, compared to longer legs on some taller people.

This is the problem I have too and I am also 6' 0". Most of the time I try and remember to pull the buckle down as I take the seat belt off. But it still happens, the buckle ends up inside the seat strap. Now I have something to work on tomorrow.

Why GM didn't put adjustable seatbelts on these cars is beyond me. I mean, they're on Cavaliers, for Pete's sake!

After getting side-tracked, I finished making mine. The belts and straps fit great! The key is to make sure the holes you make in the straps are big enough to go over the entire diameter of the magnetic snap, and be able to pivot. The hole is a little over 3/4".
Thanks again, Showguns!

Thanks for the idea. I just did mine and it works fine. No more belt at my neck.
