Brake pads?

So we have about 14,000 miles on our 2LT. We've lived in San Francisco the whole time, and my girlfriend Nikki uses the car to commute to and from work in stop and go traffic up and down the hills.

So one of the brake pads seems to be done. Not sure if it was from normal wear and tear, but it suddenly started screeching like crazy.

So I was just wondering what kind of brake pads should I use to replace them?

The screeching may not be from wear. It could be vibration. You could pull the pads and check for wear, and if they're not worn, put some disc brake quiet on the BACKS of the pads. Most parts stores sell several different brands of this stuff.

Dear god if you figure it out let me know. Mine started screeching at the same time, it's awful. I pulled them and they have tons of pad left, I lubed everything, put disc quiet everywhere I could, and it hasn't helped at all. I even get a slight chirping while driving and not applying brakes. Very frustrating.
