Damn thats nice numbers w/ only mid 8`s for boost. You guys after everything is said and done should hit the dynojet 1 last time so nobody tries to call bs on the numbers. But if not its all good, we`ve already seen the difference in the 2 dyno`s, I was just thinking a lot of people might not read through 15+ pages.

Tim, one heck of a build buddy! Looking forward to seeing what yours puts down as well.

Usmc,

You definetly need to upgrade some stuff...Lol.. Thats going to find the weak spot in your driveline quick...:( Have fun thats going to be a sick ride!

Hey guys, not much time to type. I just wanted to post results and my initial impressions. First thanks to Tim for a great build and to Dave for taking the time to explain everything to me. I really enjoyed the whole process. Now the car just needs a final buffing from the paint shop and it's mine again.

To answer 94guy, the motor dropped about a pound of boost with the new cam. We were sitting at about 7 psi. Tim had a pulley set in the shop so we decided to swap the pulley. The pulleys come in 1/8" increments. We went from a 4" to 3 7/8" pulley. It gave us about a .7-.8 pound increase and about 20hp. We could have dropped it further, but I chose to stay safe for now. I'll let Tim find the breaking point next week with car and then I'll be back.

The power is amazing. I have never driven a car with this much power so this is new for me. The car made 621rwhp and 528 tq on the superflo. So if you compare earlier in the thread when we ran on a dynojet that would be about 660rwhp and 560 rwtq. The best part is I am above 500 rwtq from about 2800rpm to redline. Horsepower climbs all the way to redline with no dropoff. Tim has multiple videos and dynosheets, but he is at the races this weekend. He will post when able. I'll apologize in advance, my camera skills suck. But you'll get the point.

Those are some great numbers.

After talking to Joe last night, my options for a supercharger seemed to have just gained a spot. Nice install, Tim! If I lived up in your area, I would have swung by to check out the build for sure. Maybe one of these years, I'll get back up there.

No we didn't. On all the runs we did, with the different configurations, IATs stayed at ambient temperature. No issue with knocking or maintaining fuel pressure. I decided against it.

I've had meth on my both cars, and as much as I felt it brought safety, but there is one more item to worry about pump failure or running out of meth and eating the rubbers (yes, meth eats up rubber where used in the tank connection). So, now you don't have to worry about these.

You guys did one hell of trail & error with this installation. I wonder when Whipple is going to make public release and mass production.
I think when you pick up your car, you should give us the final list of mods this car has. Enjoy the ride. Well done!
