dirty looks from other camaro owners

I normally give Camaro drivers a wave or thumbs up. I like the car...not enough to buy one but I think it's a sweet ride!!! I think hostility between Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger owners is stupid. It all boils down to personal preference. The hostility between V6 and V8 owners is pretty dumb too. Not everyone wants HP but just want to enjoy the car for the looks at a very affordable price. Mustang owners, from personal experience, tend to be the most obnoxious out of the bunch.

Unfortunately, the very slightest hand gesture, facial reaction, anything, seems to offend people these days. You can't even smile because the other person may think you are making fun of them.

alot of people on this site know first hand how bad i wanted my 5th Gen Camaro(just ask becky if u don't believe me lol) but because of how my financial status was, i had to go used so i decided to stay american and got a mustang(plz dnt judge lol) but i have the utmost respect for all american cars, so anytime i pull up next to one or drive by, i give a quick wave or thumbs up...the camaro guys have actually waved or gave a thumbs up back and a couple challenger guys too, but those damn ricers, they always wanna race...they need to watch the latest Fast & Furious movie..."hey nutsack, MUSCLE beats import everytime...EVERYTIME"

I actually passed a 4th gen yesterday on my way to work, and he then proceeded to get into the lane next to me and we gave each other a nod and went on our ways.

Also have gotten thumbs up and nods from challenger and stang owners!

My eye is drawn to another Camaro and I will flash lights or wave. Almost always, they don't see me. Then again if I were them, I would act as I didn't see me either.

I never do. I get people who either dont see me or maybe just dont want to look, but never a dirty look.

Yeah I have the same experiences...some look, wave, and smile, while other won't even bother. I always give a thumbs up, smile, or headnod. I even go out my way to let another fellow Camaro owner get over if they're trying to.

I wave or do the thumbs up to all my fellow 5th gens. Lately since I see more and more on the road most don't acknowledge me. Its all good I still get lots of compliments on my car.

Thats never happend to me, all I get is usually when im at a light sumone tries to race me, they either rev it or take off when light's green lol........one day I was late for work so as soon as i turned at the light i stepped on it and I heard my 304hp goin off, all of a sudden I hear a nice tuner engine goin off as well so I look beside me and theres a 350z catchin up so we smiled at each other and went for it.....sadly the traffic ahead of us approached quickly so we dropped it to speed limit *sigh*
