1000 hp DSS Axles and 4.10s Please Help!

Hey guys. I have the 1000hp axles in my Camaro and I have a question.

I recently installed Richmond 4.10s along with Jannetty's Posi mod. When I back out of my parking spot, I hear a slight click from the rear and I believe it to be from the posi mod since it makes the posi tighter.

However, when I put the car on a lift and inspect the axles, there seems to be a lot of "play" between the driveshaft and wheels. So I tried to Isolate the motion and find that it seems to me that both inner CV joints of the axles have very slight "play" in them. That is, when I hold the joint next to the third member and rotate the wheel slightly, there is some slight give in the joint itself.

Is this normal?

I have noticed this on mine as well when I had it up on the lift to put the 3.70 gears in. You can rotate the wheel slightly before anything seems to engage. I have run mine for quite a few miles like this and it seems ok. I assume that they are suppose to do that but I'm not sure.

SPEED74ss I know that the joints in the axles have a lil slop in them to help cool them better
