The show yesterday at Ward was a success. We had 2 1st gen, one 3rd gen, one 4th gen and two 5th gens at the show. Lots of venders and lots of free Adams products given out. One of our members walked away with 3 full kits of Adams products. Also lots of venders showing off thier chromed wheels, and good food from Taco Del Mar. Weather was kinda hot, but when the show was over, everything was taken down quickly and we were off and running in about 10 minutes. Next time, sign up early for the "Hell Of A Rides" car show since they do get filled early. P.S. Old model Chevelle I think won overall, and an old model Carmon Gia took kids choice awards. Taz |

Hawaii Kai Car Show
Looks like the Hawaii Kai Car Show is back on for saturday if interested. Remember pre-stagging is by the Tesoro gas station. Had over 400 cars at the last show.

Hawaii 5-O

I've also been watching and waiting to see if there are other Camaro5 members in Hawaii, specifically the island of Oahu. I've hooked up with Taz a few times, most recently the other night at the Hawaii Kai cruise, a couple hundred hot rods. I know there are tons more that read the threads, met others for swapping or selling parts, but most are active in the 808Camaro Club that meets every Friday night at the Starbucks in Pearl City. Very active club with a web site, 808Camaro.com if I am not mistaken.

Hawaii Kai Car Show
The Hawaii Kai Car Show went off well. I think 808camaros were well represented.Would have like a few new camaros faces show up to the event. But anyways still had 200-300 cars at the show. First time that I was able to stay up until the closing of the car show which was 10pm. Had a good time eating Pandas Express chinese food and just talking story. Cant wait for the next big one. Not sure if I can make the Coffee and Cars at Ala Moana Shopping Center. I'll have to wait and see what I have planed or that day. Hope everyone else who was able to make it had a wonderful time.
Until the next one, Taz |

Not to sound fanboy-ish, but I was on the fence about this earlier, as we talked that day at Home Depot. However, the lastest JRE testing pushed me over, and now I am waiting for my Cold Air Inductions, Inc. cai to get here... It shipped today. I also have some magnaflow mufflers on their way, so hopefully I'll have all the pieces / parts soon and get 'er up to where I want 'er. And HI to those I haven't talked to in a long while, after promotion to Chief Petty Officer, and the "transition" season, things are finally settling down again for me in Pearl Harbor. Now it's time to have some fun! James |

The CAI are nice. I debated between those and Halltech. I took a gamble on Halltech back then since I wanted the open element throtle sound. ADM unit look bada$$, too.
