OK not sure if this info will help
Total Milage on Car 1080
Ave Miles per day 83 (had car for 13 days)

Lifetime Ave MPG ~21.6 Was not tracking closely
Lifetime Ave MPH~35.4 but these number are close
Ave Out door temp 67 Degrees F
40% City / 60% Highway

Fill up 15.8 gallons on 9/15
Ave MPG this tank TBD Just filled up and reset
Ave MPH this tank TBD Just filled up and reset
Ave Outdoor temp TBD Just filled up and reset

Normal driving with occational dash
Additional info :
Vermont so not flat, daily drive to work 25.8 miles one way (round trip 51.6 miles).
Of daily drive 20% City 80% highway. Driving around at lunch time and nights weekend is what bring to ~ 40% City / 60% Highway. Highway speed 73 mph.

Hope this helps. I iwll try to remember to post again after the next fill up.

my full tank is giving me almost 500 miles!!! im surprised because i was lucky i got 380 when i first bought the car. im not sure of the mpg becuase i havent reset the counter since i bought it. ill be doing that on my next fill up. most of my drive is across town on the free way. granted it does come to a stop and go every other day on my way home.

... my car has only a bit over 3000 miles on it... and has been averaging 23.5 in mixed driving (two lane and stop-and-go)... I'm really pleased with that number.

I feel a little bit better about my milage after a longer trip last week. Was about 190 miles out on open highway (including a nice enpty toll road). Had the cruise set at 78 for most of the trip and the avg mpg jumped up to 29.

All our gas here has ethanol added, so I guess that is why I'm not getting higher numbers more often.

I was just glad to see it go up over 34 finally!

OK here is the info for my "First" tracked tank.
I calculated 396.5 mi / 16.5 Gal = 24 MPG
Car calculated 23.2 Ave MPG
Car calculated 40.4 Ave MPH
Ave outdoor temp ~65 degrees F
Normal driving with occasional dash
Guess would be ~30 % City / 70% highway

My garmin gps tracks city and highway driving (I think) after 4332 miles it tells me my average is 22.1mpg. I think it just uses some simple math based on what I told it, which was 16 mpg city 28 mpg highway. The DIC (reset a bunch of times) currently shows 20.1mpg but I have been working on my launches all weekend ...

Okay, after one tank full on 89 Octane...
Mileage...391.7
Avg speed..48.5
Avg MPG....27.3
All above using the DIC

Fill up was 14.292 Gallons
so my math comes out to 27.406 mpg

I also ran the whole time trying to keep it around 2k RPM.
On the highway that meant I was in 6th and doing 71mph with cruise control.

This next tank I am upping the RPM's to 2.2k...will see what happens.

Checked the spreadsheet

I have tracked date, odometer, average speed, trip odom, gallons, MPG, gallon cost and total cost of every fill since I got the car.

13417 miles in 10 1/2 months time.
Average speed = 35.0
Average fuel trip = 302.1
Average fuel qty = 14.180
Average MPG = 21.180
Average cost @gal = $2.622
Average fill cost = $37.07
Total dropped into the tank so far = $1,594.08

Driving enjoyment = priceless
