This shows as a fleet order? The process is slightly different, but fleet orders are rare and I just wanted to make sure.

Very Nice. I'm sure you'll be the envy of the office. The order is in the system and will be picked up by GM. Fleet is not a dealer allocation issue, they are processed differently. Check back periodically and we can still do a status update. Congrats

It's not completely different, but the allocation comes from GM fleet not from the individual dealer allocation. Once it moves to production, it's pretty much the same as a non-fleet order.

Ah the age old question. You will stay at 1100 status until the dealer "places" your order against his allocation at which point the status changes to 2000. That is when GM starts to put it through the stages to gather the materials and schedule it for production. The key here is the dealers allocation. You may want to have a chat with them and understand where your order is, ie. are there sold orders ahead of yours? do they have allocation to place your order? If they tell you they have the allocation, ask them when they will place the order and then check here to see if it's been done. THANK YOU, THANK YOU Becky for this invaluable information. Here's a good example of how you helped me. I ordered (PDKCHH) five weeks ago today. My status has been 1100 for the entire five weeks. I asked them two weeks aog about allocation and they said they would get over the next two weeks. I cancelled my ordered today and went with another dealer that told me the allocation for 3 Camaros. It's already (PFKBWH) at status of 2000. Think about how many orders there are between PDKCHH and PFKBWH. By the way the original dealer was hinting about not giving my deposit back until they understood that I understood that the car was never accepted as an order.
