Hi Res video of my SS/RS LS3 -after VMS Stage 2.5 cam kit install and tune
So as some may know, I installed a Comp Cams LSA 114 227/239 .613 .623 cam a couple months back with titanium retainers, hardened pushrods, and dual valve springs, which comprised the Vector Motorsports Stage 2.5 cam kit. I promised good video/audio and I bring it to you. Lightyears better than the previous videos made with my digital camera! Recorded the car this morning in the carport after the cam was dyno tuned and sounds great. So now you can hear what it really sounds like. finally got a nice hi quality HD/SD camcorder and made a new video. the car also has a complete exhaust system and air intake as detailed in the signature. Tell me what you guys think.

ya comp cam.....im thinking bout getting a ported throttle body..i heard they pick up 8 or so hp....and a intake too...which i heard intakes are a waste of money.....i dont wanna spend $300+ for 2 or 3 hp.........im gonna be getting EFI live soon that way i can access my tune and see excatly what all the numbers are set at.......the shop that did the install really didnt go over deatils of the tune...

talked with my tuner and my mechanic previously and they say the same thing about ported throttle bodies being a waste of money with a 2-3 HP gain for up to double an intake. they'd recommend CNC machining the heads. I had asked them both about the ported TB but neither recommended it. You should get 5-10 horses out of the intake with the right setup and if you're planning on modding more, I'd definitely recommend a new air intake. The stock air box is very restrictive and has lots of angles and turns. I have the black plastic air charger tube which keeps the intake temp a few degrees cooler than the aluminum. so unfortunately since you're in CA, i think you're only able to get the K&N aluminum typhoon air charger.
great idea on actually seeing the tune. I was involved in the tuning from the start and it's cool to see all your settings and tweak them. I actually have 3 degrees of timing taken out from the cam from the result of tuning. good luck!
