No, it would act similar to the OEM system does now except it will have the can stil catching the oil.

Right.

On a car with an actual PCV valve, the car starts to run rough and MPG goes down when the valve starts sticking. And I cant see this valve ever sticking completely closed, unless you let your oil get really nasty..

Got them through JEGS. They are -6AN fittings (item #799-612090) and the hose is -6AN (a little smaller than 3/8"). The fit is a little tight in the engine side, but with some work, they go on.
