Happy wife, happy life...
That being said, I have a 2010 Equinox, if the size works for you, it shouldn't be overlooked, AWD and awesome fuel mileage. |

I had an suv did the whole family thing and settled then my wife gave me divorce papers 2 weeks ago . Last week I come home in a spanking brand new ss2 2011 and you should have seen her face hahaha was great. She has been nice to me ever since and talked about staying together lol . I've always given in and was unhappy with what i was driving. Do what is in best interest for you . My only regret is the power passenger seat i have a 2 year old and its a pain to wait for the seat every time. as long as there is one family car why not .

Ask yourself this. What will make you more happy?
A 426hp beautiful sports car that is pure ecstasy? or a smoking hot, happy mama? If you don't have any kids, then obviously the camaro. Then you will have both! :seesaw: |

Reality check now that you are married is that you first need to get what you both need then what you want.
If you need the Jeep for year round commuting / moving furniture / normal demands of setting up home etc - then get what you need now - i.e. the jeep. You can get the Camaro later Not sure though why you need a new 43k Jeep for what you outlined - but thats a whole other subject If this comes down not so much due to practicality but to who gets their new car first then thats down to you and your good lady to sort out

This is the same thing me and my wife have been discussing, exept we're not in the position to buy yet. I have a two door silverado and a prius (I didn't buy it) and I have a 45 minute commute. We plan on getting an SUV and a Camaro. Only question is which one first. We want kids within the next few years and if i still have a long commute, The prius is the DD. So... That pretty much means I'm going to put my dream on hold till we get the SUV and then get our finances into position for the camaro. Its hard to do it but I know its the right thing to do.
And I don't see why you cant get both if you can afford a 43k jeep. That could be a 30k camaro and a nice used 13k SUV. |

Let me tell you a little story. It's a true story! It happened to me.
Back in the last century after I married my wife we simply had a Corvette and an ElCamino to drive. About 1979 we found that we were expecting an addition to the family. I needed to have another seat to put a child in. Did I go out and buy a mini-van? Did I buy a sedan? NOPE! I ordered a brand new 1979 Camaro Z/28. And for the next 16 years that was our family car. So if you are going to have a kid, why discount the Camaro? Small people fit in the back just fine. I say buy the Camaro and live life a little. |
