I had an 8 ball. I just made one, drilled and tapped. It was fantastic.
I thought it would cool if the 6 was not purple to use the 6 ball. I may try to find a custom ball somewhere. |

Can you shoot a picture of the detail on the black knob? Is it painted/printed on and plastic or what?

The Black Hurst ball is Aluminum and is heavier than the plastic white one that comes with the kit. Here is a picture of mine.

Nice! - is it engraved? If it is, I'm thinking about paint filling in the "H" logo to match the Hurst emblems.

Yes the Alum. black ball is anodized and the words/graphic are machined into the aluminum. So, yes the would accept the orange paint down in the recesses very nicely.
