So choose wisely when using a trucking company like the old saying "you get what you paid for".

Using a big name company like Reliable or Exotic Car transport drivers are screened before hire, they are limited to the amount of hours they can drive (multiple drivers go on trips), On board GPS so you can track your loads, they have plenty of backup trucks if one breaks down they transport GM’s cars all they time for car shows.

Good luck but I would not feel comfortable handing my car over to the $900 Father and Son Transport with a 1995 Freightliner with 250k on the clock taking my car from Orlando to Phoenix and have no spare trucks if something happens.

Just food for thought

Sean
what if you were just renting the truck and trailer... then driving it yourself?

Different story my only questions what kind of insurance is on the truck and the contents of the truck?

But that would work

Well, the truck would have its own ins like any rental. The trailer would be "appropriated" for its use. So long as the truck ist damaged, it would be like a normal rental...just more expensive

Ha, ha...

Still waiting for the transport companies, but it looks like PQ was correct in that they were inferring the round trip cost was actually one way. Will see if anything more cost effective shows up. Who has a CDL license. Penske truck rental anyone ?

ya know... when I moved to the new house, I rented a 26' box truck that could more than likely house a car or two... plus a trailer behind... only problem would be getting the car onto and off of the truck... seeing as how the floor is about 5 feet off the ground
