Get what you want and dont settle for anything less. I dont know about the fuel though, I didnt trust my dealer so I had them make sure to leave it close to empty (Fuel station is close by)

Do not give them a deposit until your order goes to status code 2000 or better.
Get your bench work order number at the time of ordering. And the wheel locks are a rip. A set of 20 lugs, with splined lock lugs is only $55 from a vendor on here. All the stuff the dealer pitches is crap, or better can be had elsewhere. Covers, mats, paint conditioners, under coating, tint, wheel protection, paint protection, hand jobs, etc.

My guy was out on Saturday, so it didn't happen until today. Thank you all, particulary Scorps, RipperFox and 2011 2SS/RS. I gave my dealer this list and he didn't bat an eye at any of it:
No dealer badging Don't install front license bracket 93 octane gas only Don't drive more than required for PDI Save the window sticker Leave interior wrapping in place (he asked about the exterior and I said I was okay with the normal prep work.) He gave me the GM Workbench order number without me even asking. Now for the waiting... Is it here yet? No. How about now? |
