Several people have commented on the bevel in the side mirrors. I believe that is film that darkens at night to reduce headlight glare from the car behind.

I wasn't sure what they were talking about regarding "bevels" either but that was HUGE for me, Bob the salesman told me about it, It's a film that is like those eyeglass lenses that get darker in bright light. Self-dimming rear view mirrors or some such.
I love that, my commute is half in the dark 99% of the time and having astigmatism, those headlights in rear view mirrors are blinding. The self-dimming mirrors were a sell point for me!

Those outside rear view mirrors are also equipped with defrosters.

Onstar MyLink mobile app is comming out soon. It will only be available vehicles running Onstar version 9.0
heard allot of people wondering which version they have and don't know how to check it.
To find out, long press the call button on the rear view mirror till you hear your version.
(I wonder if owners of previous Onstar version can upgrade?)

You can go into the radio and configure the locks to do this, I wouldn't though. I watched a guy get out of his car and throw the keys on the seat. Then we heard the CLICK and he said "Oh f%^k".

Contrary to popular belief....... An automatic can throw a rev just like a Manual.. N is only 1/4 inch away.

if you tune your stereo to 89.3 then hold the unlock button for 10 seconds it will turn off the governor and allow the car to max out on speed over 155 mph..... once you restart the car the governor will go back to its default setting.

The way I understand it, Onstar Version 9.0 has a hardware difference that prevents 2010 and older models from using it. For past hardware upgrades it was possible to install upgrade hardware aftermarket but I doubt it would be worth the cost.

If you leave your blinker on for too long, it says your turn signal is on dummy!!

It would be ultra cool if the Garmin sent the audio via bluetooth to the radio.
You have to make sure your Garmin has the correct Bluetooth option; A2DP headset technology. This is only found on a few models. The other Bluetooth Garmin models only let a phone sync to the Garmin; which won't let you play your direction over the car radio. Also, sound quality is not the best when sending music or directions to your car via bluetooth.

If you let your car idle for a long period of time in the heat (15-20 minutes) and shut the engine off, when you start the engine again, the Air Conditioner will not work until the engine cools down again. I had this happen to me and a couple other 5th Gen owners had this happen to them at the Texas Motor Speedway Laps for Charity II event. I had to shut the engine off and fan the engine for about 10 minutes to allow it time to cool down, then the A/C worked just fine !!!!

Not sure if it was said already but a fact i uncovered. The passenger seat was made to be low so it would piss off every passenger so the driver could drive in peace..... by himself
