C5 Caravan

Yep, thought about it ... Going to meet up with the SA Group although I have not met any of them yet, lol! I will probably go to SA for their Friday's at Friday's sometime in the near future.

Sounds like Houston will meet up with them too.
It'll be a fun drive out there to AZ.
Lookin' forward to it!

My wife and I discussed it and decided that it depends on when everyone else is leaveing. We are intent on leaving Wed from here and heading to Las Cruises, New Mexico to stay the night. We will then head into Pheonix Thursday morning and get settled in and hit the town. We want to have plenty of time to enjoy ourselves and be already settled and well rested for the festivities.

BTW......the SpeedTek thing fell through so I am heading to 21st on Saturday. I have a 0900 appointment with them for tune and dyno......Dam 5 AM is early to hit the road on a saturday but it is for a good cause.....

All central Texas people can meet up with the Houston, San Antonio group way closer than El Paso. If we take 290 West we can meet up with them near Segovia on IH 10 just before Junction... That is the quickest way, and they will be coming in from SA on 10...Those from further north, can meet up at several other points along IH 10... I realize there is a break point where you might want to head NW towards 20 and then west, but we can all meet at the 10 / 20 connect also...

I have a friend looking into group rates at a hotel in Las Cruces, and also a really big dinner gathering at De La Vegas... We just started talking about it, but he has a great in with the resturant and may be able to pull this off... Great big open resturant, in door and outdoor eating, multiple bars, and a huge parking lot...

He is also going to check into a group rate for the Hilton just down the street from the resturant...
