The product coming out of GM is excellent. Knowing how many dedicated people work at GM it does not surprise me. What does surprise me is how GM managed to keep it together over the last couple of years. I know projects were delayed or dropped, but that doesn't seem to have had that great an impact. While some want to make bad jokes about Government Motors I think we should tip our hats to the people that kept it going when it was next to impossible to do so.

seriously tho, I would love to see a DI v8. but it will come to the vette first (if it is a big power performer) or the truck or caddy lines as an efficient powerhouse with new, expensive technology.

well, if you look at it as statistics, not many people (considering all camaro buyers) want a tune for the V6. yeah, we've got some die hards and a lot of enthusiasts that would love a good tune for the V6, but if GM dropped a DI V8 tomorrow, there would be plenty of companies working their @$$es off to crack that code. my thoughts anyway.
