oh yeah... I forgot your car is over at the "other" garage 20 miles from you...

Does LPE have a "reserved for Paul's Camaro" sign in the shop yet?

The cage is awesome. It was built by Advanced chassis. http://www.advancedchassisllc.net/

Apparently none of us believe in "if it ain't broke, dont fix it"

more like "let's build it better than before"... LOL
Ive had this car on the lift since its been back more than ive driven it....... im starting to get frustrated with it. I have a high speed vibration around 80-100mph that is driving me crazy. I did have a bad axle that was slinging grease everywhere and the tires were out of balance. I upgraded to the new 1400hp (same size axle on both sides now) road force balanced the wheels and stilll a vibration at high speeds. We went through and checked torque specks on every bolt we can on this car.

Its fine up until high speeds.

Driveshaft maybe?

I couldn't imagine it being a driveshaft. Have you tried different wheels?

600.... nice pics!

Camaro5fest - It's official, I'll be there.... just made reservations for Thur/Fri/Sat and 2 spare rooms. May have to dodge a Colorado snow storm on way via Albuquerque, but I'll be there. Undecided if driving or trailering. Sounds like quite a few Colorado/Wyoming members will be making the trip too.

It will be great to see all the LPE owners.

Just trying to figure out if there are things I should be on the look out for when picking my car up. I'm 580 miles away from the shop, so I want to make sure there are no problems before I leave.

Have a blast. And when uploading pix, sneak one in there of mine all tore apart!!!
Pfadt engine mounts may help from twisting the exhaust around. You definitely feel the engine more with them, but I've seen how much these LPE engines move on the dyno - can't be good.

I'd suggest you give LPE a call... they should be able to suggest how to identify the part giving you grief.

do you still have the stock wheels? I'd bolt them back on and give them a try..

We just made our reservations for Thur/Fri/Sat also at the host hotel. We're looking forward to this and seeing as many LPE brethren as possible!!

My custom wheels should be here this week and the NT05's i have sitting in the garage. I'll have them road force balanced, stick them on there and see what we come up with.

It was good to talk to you yesterday Pete, i sure appreciate the advice. We was able to get them out, but it took a lot of elbow grease. I think we made it harder on ourselves in the long run by trying different things, but at least its done.

Hey do you know of any shops close to me that are certified pedders installers? I want to pedderize every bushing on the car, but want it done professionally. Can you let me know my options within a 300 miles radius of 62812 please?

LPE are the ones that told me about the vibration in the first place and they diagnosed it as an axle. The right axle was bad and the car now has even bigger and better axles in it and it still vibrates. I've had the wheels and tires road force balanced and installed some pedders trailing arm bushings. Still a vibration about 60mph, especially under a load. :(
