So when will dealers know if they got an allocation of v8's?

discounts can be combined with other incentives (dealer incentives, factory rebates, customer cash, loyalty cash, GM card points... think I got the big ones at least) but not other discounts (no military+supplier+grad+employee or whatever. You just get the largest discount you are eligible for).

P.S. - Which state ABT? Virginia?

so i guess i really have to look into something else. hello hyundai genesis coupe. or something.
If you walked in to a Chevy dealer in April/May and ordered a 2LT/RS, you would get it. That's a V6 and they are going to build the crap out of V6's. SS's on the other hand are totally controlled and VERY limited.

I WATCHED THE IDL AS WELL..WHAT I GOT OUT OF IT WAS..

IT LOOKS LIKE ABOUT 4.5K OR LESS A MONTH TO BE PRODUCED IF YOU READ BETWEEN THERE LINES.....(BEST GUESS?)...MINE

30% OF THE V8 SOLD ORDERS WILL BE PUSHED INTO NEXT YEAR PRODUCTION WITH PRICE PROTECTION...MEANING STILL 2010'S BUT PRODUCED STARTING AFTER THE SHUT DOWN IN JULY....

BY LATE APRIL ALL DEALERS TO HAVE (1) V6 1LT FOR STOCK AND A SECOND QT(1) 1LT OR 2LT BY MAY??..

My dealer was allocated 28 and I am number 8..but I still don't feel warm and fuzzy....I will have to watch King Kong tonight instead of Transforms again....maybe they will release the Camaro when T2 comes out ....I know that was bad....

well if gm keeps up pushing the v6 crap then i will just go with lexus since they will make and sell me an is-f with a v8, i have never owned or driven anything with less than 8 cylinders and wont start now, this camaro is the first american car i have ever wanted to buy and now gm is going to mess that up if i wanted a v6 i would get a nissan or honda but thats just how i feel. Hey Scotty - if you don't want to feel bad about having that 1LT sitting on the lot (or any dealer for that matter) you could just... you know... give it to me... or something...

We just started January consensus today. The Camaro will show up next month. Consensus is only one month at a time and that is the only available allocation dealers know they will get. Once we accept our consensus numbers, we can order based on them over the next four weeks. Keep in mind that ALL dealers will get a 2LT V6 late April/early May as their first Camaro. This is a gimmie from GM and does not go against their allocation. Other cars that follow will be based on dealer consensus and allocation on a monthly basis.

GMAC extended my GTO SmartBuy a total of 3 months while waiting for this car; kept it through Dec instead of Sept. I'm sure they'll extend a lease for the same amount of time.
