There is no reason to go that far into LA. That is the same route that SACHEVY was given when he came to get his LT's a couple of weeks ago. Whoever mapped that out for Google needs to have their azz severely kicked.
If you follow that route, your going to fight the worst traffic of your life for 30-40 miles just to get to the 10, and it won't get any better for another 50 miles.

Edit that map to exit on the 210 east, there is one kind of tricky interchange that if you know where it is, isn't bad. (you have to exit off the right side to remain on the 210 East or you run into a business/residential area) From the 210 take that all the way to the 15 South. Take 10 East and presto change-O your at Morongo. There is an little quicker way to go, but it can get a little confusing and would give the chance to get seperated.

I take that route every-other weekend taking my kid to her mom's. By far the best route to get over here.

That's the same route I took and yes the exchange to 210E can be tricky. Keep your eye open for the sign and get over to the right lane as soon as you can. There is time but if you miss the first sign or there happens to be alot of traffic it could get difficult but no to bad.
See you in Morongo

Hopefully this weekend (since I'm not doing anything for my birthday), I'll plan a route from Norcal for the bay and sac cruising down the 99 and one going down the 5. 99 will take us right through modesto and fresno I'm told so that might be the preferred route. Also, it has been brought to my attention that we may or may not be able to open some channels and avoid traffic getting down to at least bakersfield on the 99 and can just hit the 58 from there.

I'll make a new thread about it when I map out both routes.

Yeah 99 will run right down through modesto and fresno and then depending on how many people are in that convoy coming down when you guys got to Bakersfield we could arrange a brief meeting spot for everyone to relax, gas, eat before heading out to the 58. You have a ton of routes to choose from so mapping should be a bigger pain in the arse than you think

Yeah the 99 is usually a pretty easy route to go when coming from up north down to Bakersfield...only time it really gets bad is when you hit the cooler months when that "Tule Fog" rolls in and causes nothing but accidents and headaches but we shouldn't have that issue in April.

Still all in talks, Milk is pretty much organizing though but probably going to be 58 to the 215 I believe...time is probably still a long way away to be certain...# of vehicles should be a pretty decent amount if we get the Nor Cal guys to meet up with us in Bakersfield then all head out together...

yeah, ita ll depends on whether the norcal group is coming through here. But we'll most likely take the 58 to LA from here.
