On LPE's new Dyno my car made 560rwhp and 518rwtq. They tell me that their new dyno have been showing about 15rwhp and tq less than their old one. Honestly im a little disappointed with those numbers, but the car feels very strong.
We took it to the drag on Sat night and it averaged 7.3 at 99mph. 1.7 was my average 0-60ft with one run at 1.4

I keep getting a lot of wheel hop and even break lose when hitting 2nd gear sometimes. Im running Nitto 555r's with 19psi and the stock pzero's with 45psi.
We played with the air pressure a bit and went to 24psi and the wheel hop calmed down a bit, but was still there.
I have a 1.625 drop with the Pedders coil overs all around with 14 clicks all around. We are gonna try and raise the ass end up to 1.5 and thought about softening up the clicks in the rear. I want to get your guys opinions first and please chime in Pete if you dont mind buddy.
I was shocked with all the wheel hope since i have new axles, toe bars, trailing arms, bushings and more to keep this thing planted. Back to the drawing board i guess before the LSX shootout

Just trying to figure out if there are things I should be on the look out for when picking my car up. I'm 580 miles away from the shop, so I want to make sure there are no problems before I leave.

Have a blast. And when uploading pix, sneak one in there of mine all tore apart!!!
Yes LPE did most of the engine mods, my family and i have done some and a local shop also. "Are you doing others"..... of course, this car wont ever be done.

Your right i agree that the exhaust hitting should have been caught at the shop, because it was hitting so hard that when i would turn to the left it would pop very loud (no way of missing it, unless the exhaust settled since they test drove it). However i put it up on the lift, took a piece of two by four with a jack, loosened all of the exhaust, proped it up and that baby now has inch's of clearance.

To answer the axle question: LPE had no control over that and it was a faulty part on makers behalf. They overnighted me a new upgraded set right away and the new ones are great.

Your probably gonna be very picky when you pick up your car and you should be. Your spending a very lot of money with a company that is very busy and their workers are human, meaning things happen that slip threw the cracks. Not ever car that goes through there will be perfect, but they are a company that work to make sure the customer is happy.

se7en- I'll want to check my car out on the lift, then do a decent test drive before leaving the area. I figure by the time I arrive, tour plant, finish business and get the keys to roll, it will be a little late in the day. So I'll check out car, stay close by, then head back to Maryland in the daytime.

When I had my Borla Catback exhaust installed by a local outfit, I did have to take it back for a minor adjustment due to clearance issues. That was a long time ago, and haven't had problems since. I hope you get your issues resolved asap so you can go back to lighting them up!!

Question- with you getting 560 rwhp- Is that for the 650HP package for the LS3? L99??

I agree completely with your plan! Check it out from top to bottom before leaving, especially since your so far away. Im 350 miles away and had my shipped for $700.

Yes that is for the 650 package. I got the 650 package plus, i added a GT9cam, LPE 10/14 rip belt system, LPE dual fuel pump with bigger injectors, brembo slotted rotors with stainless steel brake lines and custom coil covers.
I had an L99, but with the 650 package it converts it to an LS3. Ryan told me that my numbers are low because i have an automatic.

100 HP drop is about what I was expecting- your numbers are a little better then that, so I'm good with them. I ended up with free shipping from Maryland. It was that, or $1,000 off of package. I got in at the right time!!! I'm about 580 miles from them.

That's pretty decent #'s Se7en.. in line with what we have been seeing from the automatics.

Not sure what to say on the vibration.. none of us seemed to have that issue.
It's not an axle if you put the stock ones AND 1400 HP ones in place and it's still doing it.. got to be something else. I would still try another set of wheels if you have them. it needs to be something in the drivetrain - abou tthe only thing you havn't messed with is the driveshaft, apparently.

For Pedders suspension, how much have you installed for the bushings? main ones are the 3 that are on the diff - do you have the 1167HD? the non-HD bushings won't do the job in your car. they took care of 80% of the wheel hop I had.

I ran the XA shocks at 22 on the street or full hard on the track. (I like it stiff).
I also have the 32MM rear swaybar and 27MM front with the full extreme track kit from Pedders.

Hey do you know of any shops close to me that are certified pedders installers? I want to pedderize every bushing on the car, but want it done professionally. Can you let me know my options within a 300 miles radius of 62812 please?

Axle vibration and wheel hop are a bad combination. Step one is to identify the cause of the vibration at speed. Step two is to list either all the bushes you have or those that you need -- whichever is shorter

FYI, I managed to spin my RR tire about 3/4" running 20 psi - took up to 25 and okay. I am however running the Nitto 305/20 555R DRs on stock rims - could be the difference of improper size rims. Maybe Pete could chime in here, but for 1/4 mile stuff rear should be higher for better wieght transfer. I also have to wonder if increasing the CV shaft angle by lowering is a mistake for 1/4 mile stuff when we're already fighting torque vs next weakest link issues. I know lower is better for tracking car obviously, if tire clearance isn't an issue.

I'll get the vibration figured out for sure. My new wheels should be here any day and thats what it feels like.

I dont have the diff bushings or the sub-frame bushings, but i just spoke to a pedders dealer about getting me some numbers to fully pedderize my vehicle. Every bushing that can be changed, will be changed on this car.

Thanks for the advice on the clicks, but i need to know what will work best for the drag, not for everyday or roadcourse driving. Some say that softer in the rear allows for more wieght transfer and other say the stiffer the better for traction. I need to test out both is what i need to do

I have pfadt sway bars on the car. I wanted pedders, but when i was looking a lot of places were on backorder and i didnt want to wait.

Do you think i should raise the ass-end up a quarter of an inch from the front?

Thats a very good point! I wonder if raising the car for drag would make better times. I wonder if anyone has tried this on this site. Im gonna go look around the drag forum to see if i can find anything
