I don't know about anyone else on here, but, you really tic me off.
You are WAY out of line. Rick Conti has done more for Chevrolet than most anyone at a dealership level ever will. He has had a personal website devoted to everything Corvette for years. Has participated in other forums as an enthusiast to promote all things GM. Has Scotty told you that he worked with Rick before going to Newman and I am sure learned more than a thing or two from him. We are "tic'd off" that GM is screwing with this car. Believe what you want and who you want. In a month we will all see how this process will play out.

I take that EVS hasn't sold any preorders or they sold them to customers believing that it was just a marketing survey. I find this hard to believe. Why the so sudden interest now when we have been ordering under the premises that it does mean something, why did you wait till now to come on this forum and post it. To me something stinks here! Maybe I am totally wrong, but I am going to believe that Scotty has been giving us reliable information and from I have seen has led no one down a wrong path. For me this isn't about the delay in production but the V6 to V8 distributions. BTW proportionately speaking small dealers are no dif than big dealers with SS's or not, alot of sales = alot of allocations, not many sales = not many allocations. I am #6 out of 8 with only 2 SS's ordered, me being one! Explain how a bigger dealership with more allocations will get there SS's filled before my dealer get theres filled! If I am correct in my thinking All allotments should be filled approximately same time frame.
There is my 2 cents for what is worth. Prolly not worth that now with inflation and all. Doh!
No, we have been Chevrolet supporters before this website was even thought of. We are just tired of everyones "Fluff" not fact. If I have hurt anyones feelings, sorry. We will just see what happens in a month and that will answer everything.

The ambient lighting that looked awesome on the 2SS has been delayed until they make sure it is right. So if your 2SS is an early car, you won't have all the standard equipment. I wonder if that has anything to do with the lawsuit against Cadence. They were making interior trim and airbag covers.

so I geuss this means if you ordered early you wont get ABL and other
standered equipment?

From what I have read there is no news on the ambient lighting. Cut down on the rumors please. If I am wrong please provide me a link or a quote...I would like to read it.

I feel like I have been used and have spent the last 6+ months of my life dreaming for something that just got snatched away from me.We trusted GM and our dealers and we get treated like guinea-pigs.I've got thousands of dollars and lot's of time invested to be feeling like were not important.Just keep that carrot in front of us GM and us dumb rabbits will just keep following. I feel better now.........I think.

Not one question answered from your response, and please tell me how laughing at us who preordered has done GM any good, or for that matter your dealerships sales!

Ok. I just don't think it is wise to post such inflamatory remarks on a public forum about a product you promote. Maybe Rick has done alot for GM, but, what he has posted tonight has not been beneficial for GM or Chevrolet. So as far as tonight goes, I am not out of line. We don't need all this doom and gloom from a dealer. There is enough of that from everyone else.

You are held to a higher level of accountability as a representative of the car and the company. I will belive who I want and what I want and it won't be someone that appears tonight with a "the sky is falling, GM sucks" attitude.

I guess it's a good thing all the negative doom and gloom sides of Rick did not rub off on Scotty.
