If anyone from San Diego is interested in cruising up to the show together, with Det Mscl and myself.. you can meet up with us at the AMPM on Carmel Valley rd, right after the 5/805 merger/56 junction. We should be leaving at roughly 3:30pm.

I am going to pick up a Camaro Club of San Diego peep at the Nordahl exit off 78 (east end), so I need to fly up I-15 N instead of travelling West on 56 to hook up with you guys at the AM/PM by I-5.

According to Google (and the "traffic gods") it is supposed to be 24.3 miles from Nordahl to Rest Stop Exit 59 off I-5 N just north of Oceanside / 78, and should take ~26 minutes (they don't know I am driving an SS...). For you, it is supposed to be 26.4 miles from 56 / I-5 to the Rest Stop, and should take ~24 minutes (interesting math...).

Can you meet me / us at Rest Stop Exit 59 at 04:00 pm Friday? Then we can take turns at point while travelling in "Camaro Formation" up I-5 to the OC Auto Show! My cell is (619) 920-1278, and my OnStar is (858) 414-6248...

Yes it was...and I still can't get the image out of my head of that Challenger booking for the freeway off-ramp as soon as I made my approach to check 'er out...
