^^^good tip^^^^ along the same lines:
hhmm..how to explain this w/o getting confused...if you have your setup (via the radio menu) to have the audible lock confirmation <-that being your horn sounding upon the second press of the lock button, if your door(s) is/are not shut completely then the horn will not sound.
OTOH, I did notice that it still latched (although I don't know how well it was actually secured), and will still be locked. You will have to unlock the car, open and re-shut the door completely to receive the audible confirmation.
That being said, I now double press the lock button, and if I don't hear the horn, I know my door isnt shut
Hope that wasn't too confusing, lol

That is an excellent point. I remember when I was looking at this car at the dealer, and tried to pop the trunk, nothing happened. Battery was dead from sitting on the showroom floor. Five sales guys tried, to no avail, to figure out how to open the trunk before I gave up.

It has a 19 gallon tank instead of 16 like my 2001 Camaro. Wished I did not have to wait so long to get her built.

Pull down the rear seat then pull the yellow handle on the trunk lid.

I know that now. I did not know that the first time I saw the car. Nor did anyone else in the building, apparently.

Funny thing is, the new Camaro must be connected to the internet and talk to the "God of comuters" at GM to do a reset of the check engine light. That took them 1.5 hours to accomplish.
last gm driveablity class i was in a couple months back said the new camaro has aprox.247 different computers in it,all communcating together, god this car rocks!

Why does everyone climb into their trunk when the camaro's battery is dead, instead of opening the hood and hooking a charger to the charging terminals.
