If you meant you saw an LS or LT (as in a v6) with the SS emblems, then yes - thats is just false advertising LOL

But if it was an actuall SS (as in a v8), the it is possible it had the RS package installed.

Right?

1. Exhaust, 2.Brakes. 3.Front Lower Grill...=V6
and yes, there is the SS/RS.

yep..I didn't read the entire post. my bad. Ok, I agree with most, SS badge on a V6 model is pathetic. But then again, I had a 427 badge on my Shelby Cobra replica but didn't have a 427 in it.

I have a 2SS/RS with the midnight silver wheels. Not all SS/RS have polished wheels, just saying....

Sorry about that I thought most people knew. The exhaust on the ls and lt models have smaller tips than the ss model. The ss model brings brembo brakes and the lower grill in the front bumper on the ss model has several fins/cutouts opposed to the ls and lt models. Sorry for any confusion..

NP - I know there are differences, you just stated you "noticed" them and didn't say what you noticed about them. I just wanted to make sure what you meant to say was what people were assuming.

I have had people look at my car (1LT/RS) and blow it off with the statement - psh, it's JUST an RS.... I have to tell them that RS is just an option package that can be bought for the LT or SS. If they had said - it's JUST a v6, I would feel properly dissed.. LOL

What he probably noticed was that it didn't have brembo brake calipers the rotors are smaller , the "mail slot above the grill, and the exhaust tips are smaller
I saw an LT today with the SS emblems on it too...but hey whatever floats his boat..He is paying for it so what do I care what he does with it..
