It is with regret that I am leaving UpstateC5. Due to issues and comments from one of the founders of UpstateC5 regarding the formation of The Hudson ValleyC5, I have decided I do not wish to belong to a club where one of its leaders acts in a childish manner ( you cannot dictate what clubs someone can belong to).
Despite attemps to discuss this issue, the leader is not willing to discuss or listen to reasoning behind getting members from Albany and Southern NY to join a branch of a bigger club..ie NY5thGen .
I have always supported UpstateC5 and have actively recruited members.
I made sure we all had decals when no one else could get it done.
I tried to get shirts made but was shot down by the same leader( could get them cheaper, where are they?)
Lastly the behavior that has been exhibited by this leader does not support the mission statement.
It was nice to meet and get to know the members.

Btw as I posted early in the week about a place to eat after the thunder road tour. I need to confirm with the restaurant by the end of the day if were going to stop there for food after so they know to be expecting this many people let me know please thanks. Saturday is prime rib night so they need to be prepared!!!

I just talked with the photographer and there will be a track photographer on site at the top of the first s turn at the glen tomorrow.

Can you give me directions to the store in case I cant get there by 8:30? I leave work in Ithaca at 8 so I might make it.

"Julie" is missing out this trip....I cannot get up that early and neither can Hayl- she just got back from Nature's Classroom today and is tired....My 5 year olds are doing me in so far this year...so,.......have fun tomorrow guys!!

Someone please make sure that Andy keeps some tread on the back tires- there isn't much left as it is..... LOL....
