Pedders has already proven they can bring magic handling to the Camaro SS...lets hope this car incorporates some of that.

Man ok, depending on price, . . . mabey I don't care about forged internals. That thing sounds sick, I can't stop watching it! Please be loaded out under 50K PLEASE! lol I am doubting it though I bet it's going to be over 50K, . . . like 55K+- =(

I'm still struck by how loud the blower is when it takes off for another run down the track. I'm sure the wall amplified it, but I'm thinking we'll see a bump in boost, maybe to 10 or 11 psi. That'd probably be good for almost 600 HP if they can use a lower restriction dual mode exhaust - they're good for something like 6 HP on the earlier LS3 'Vettes, no? It's a very exciting time for a Zed fan

All I've got to say is please do not go and check out the youtube comments on the two videos like I did. Not too many on the 2nd video yet, but the 1st video....ugh.
Everyone thinks that is the car's paint job. Some think there is no difference between it and the current car (again, not realizing the new lines are hidden with the tape).... some people are calling it fake because its not in America..."see the sign...its not in english". Some think there is no difference at all and its just a 2010. That place will piss you off with the insane amount of ignorance going on there....but I guess when you have a million 12 year olds posting thats what you get.

Maybe its just me, I think it still sounds "tame".
I know they probably are still testing different sounds, Hope they go a little louder instead of quiet like they did on the SS. -Bobby

SIGMA -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Sigma_platform
ZETA -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Zeta_platform The sigma front suspension is closer to the Vette than ZETA. SIGMA I am out of the office and don't have access to my photo file. The main difference is that the Camaro has NO upper control arm with the CTS-V has an upper control arm. The lack of the control arm didn't stop Pedders from running faster than a CTS-V race car on slicks while the Camaro was a full street car on street tires. |
