Oh, and buy the way... all the IDL flowery talk about attracing the new generation of buyers with the V6 and how it's going to sell like hotcakes to the young-uns is complete CRAP.

The generation GM is targeting is going to LAUGH at the Camaro Website. It's complete GARBAGE. Most of the buyers they target have a more informative and interactive MySpace page than that stupid Camaro Website.

Good luck impressing the new generation. If they see that website they will figure that the Camaro must use a Steam Engine and has Wicker Seats.

So if your dealer is small and has an allocation of 2 cars and you were there in 2006 to make your downpayment to reserve a spot to get a V8, you are SCREWED until they decide to allocate more cars to your dealer... which means MONTHS of waiting.

So after the delay, then after the V6's, then...finally...half the cars built will be V8's, which will NOT take care of all the V8 preorders.

Yeah, the website is a joke but GM knows this as they don't bother with it anymore. I would hope that when they begin advertsing the Camaro they'll have a better website to promote the product.

I hope you are right.

If not have them contact this website and TOGETHER we can build them something respectable. We have a lot of talented people here. We can make a great website for them.

Seriously, I don't think half the people on this site have been paying attention to the small group of members trying to calm everyone down and provide useful information and correct any misconceptions.
Agreed. First and foremost I think most peoples' problem is ignorance, making them more than willing to run with speculation. Everyone wants their car the way they want it, at a good price and when they want it. What's wrong with that? It's only after understanding all the facts surrounding the production of this car that they're willing to accept reality. So, WAKE UP POEPLE!!

Of course then there are those that can't learn or don't care to, the idiots, and they will always frustrate those that know.

EDIT: No, I'm not calling anyone an idiot. But the fact is GM never promised delivery of a single car at any specific time.

There is 2 guys on here that need to cool off.

If you think the GM site is "stupid" then please keep that opinion to yourself. Just because you think so does not make it a fact.

Ranting for 36 hours is doing no one any good. GROW UP!!!

I came to this site after watching every one get flamed on the other one.

I have learnd lots, passed on my experiences, made a friend and shared some laughs.

Every time I go to a new thread I see the same TWO CRY BABIES. You two keep poring boiling water on the wounds.

Go buy some thing else and let us who stay get this site back to some thing to enjoy.

We're just speaking our minds about GM's "workbench poll", build ratio, and further delays of the car. You're the one making it personal...that's not very mature.

I'll keep speaking my mind here and in other on-topic threads about the dissapointment of the IDL. There are other threads on here that have nothing to do with the IDL, check those out if you want a positive topic.

I'll ALWAYS speak my opinion; I'm sorry if negative opinions upset you. Welcome to the real world.

im not bashing gm or "crying" plus this is the inly 5th gen website i go on i just dont understand why people are complaining about something stupid...like no navigation... or the fact that they delayed the car weve come so long think back to 2006 when we first saw the camaro concept..were in 2009 the finish line is right in front so what if they delayed the camaro and most of us wont see ours sitting in the driveway for all i know i might not see mine untill summer but the fact that GM wants to make the car better and make sure everything is perfect right down to the lug nuts should make us appreciative that GM reallys wants to give its buyers a perfect car im not trying to poor boiling water on the wounds...but people should stop complaining about stupid things and look forward to the camaro and be happy for those who might get the car before some and share in their joy.....and another thing i ordered mine in october in october i thought feburary was going to take forever to come and now were in the middle of january it flew by...plus i was distracted with college but a month or 2 is going to go by fast

Obviously. A paying customer has the right to complain.
