I do have to side with LS3 SS, and disagre with Huck. Its cheap and adds ZERO at the dyno.

Neither does anything but headers really...

Good night folks. Have a good weekend.

Ive been into the motor on my 2011 when it had 200 miles on the clock. Spent quite a bit of time on the dyno. Have turbos waiting for install next month.

Built several C6 vettes with every exhaust you mentioned plus some.

You want to hear drone, try some Borlas on a C6.

I have another block in the waiting. I think it is safe to say that I'm in the top 2 percentile of 5th gen owners. I really don't give two shits what you think though. Have a nice day!

BTW, having turbos installed next month is not 9 October 2010.

I'm done.

Just like if you want to shop on Ebay for parts for your car, thats YOUR DECISION.

But when someone shows blatent ignorance and acts like the muffler delete is the best solution to an "american muscle sound" for our cars, then there will be a correction.

CORRECTION : The muffler delete is the best sounding ALTERNATIVE to riding around with a stock quiet exhaust.
Can't "LOL" at anyone when you're obviously being condescending, even now. Now move along son, before I have Jrhaus put you in the corner.

Hey Revo, I have the MBRP exhaust and love it. Sounds great on the outside of the car but not annoying in the car.

If I make a trip down there before you get one I'll let you know so we can meet up for a few so you can hear it.

That does sound really good. Wonder what the exact setup is on that car....

That Cherry Bobm system sounds surprisingly good actually.

Hey REVO, have you looked into the Stainless Works Retro Chambered Cat Back system?

Stainless sounds real good too..... I like that the Stainless site has prices listed, while Cherry bomb leaves you to figure which one is good for your car. (????)

On a side-note, that 5.Slow just started up and drove away, sounding all beefy and crap. Jerk.

My guess is they are saving it for the Z/28... and from the videos, I think I'm right. As for the SS, I guess making it so quiet made all the "regulatory, environmentalists, (insert your own description here)" ...happy. The Z/28 will be much less production, and GM appears to have let loose the awesome sound... that is the LS V-8 engine!

As for what you can do, it's up to you. I also live in Cali, and wasn't about to just do a mufler-delete. I'd rather not attract more attention from the police than I already do. But pretty much any aftermarket will do what you are looking for, when you got the cash.

Cool man, I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, whereabouts is CA are you?

As of right now, I'm leaning toward the Cherry Bomb. Seems to give the car a good note without hushing it too much. And it's also on the lower end of the spectrum costwise. The nice thing about the muff delete is it's CHEAP. Might try it out for awhile, and if it's not workin for me after a month or so, I can add a cat-back and won't feel like I wasted money.
