With Borla Long Tube Headers, Borla Exhaust, cammed and Kenne Bell blown engine, it's a sure thing to set off the car alarms in the parking lot. But when I feel a bit more devilish than usual, I open up the cut-outs a tad...

That's what I'm going with too. I was gunna go with a B&B "sport" cat-back, but just can't justify the cost

[QUOTE=ViperTomcat;2423253]NO! Surely not! The Camaro is the most bestest car in the history of everything! You LIE! Silly Mustang fanboy, should have bought a Mustang! How dare you even remotely suggest that the Mustang may have something better than the Camaro! You should just sell your Camaro and run away, hide and buy a 5.SLOW!!!!

And now we enter the real world...

Ford has always done a good job on exhaust note and volume when stock. Modified 5.0's sound like sex on wheels.[

Mustang always sound nice stock, Camaros dont sound nice stock, but they sure do sound amazing when opened up

I love my cherrybomb on my LS3. I have gotten a lot of compliments on the sound.

What setup did you go with?

Just what I was thinking. Take off the factory trash cans and replace them with Cherry Bomb glass packs. It's almost a muffler delete.

I have the Cherrybomb extreme axle back. I absolutely love it at least on my LS3.

I almost went this route, but went with Cherrybomb extreme. I think the glass packs would have been SWEET as well.

Catback right? Any headers, etc needed to make it sound beefy, or is it pretty decent out of the box?

Hooked on a fillin'

I went with the full monty, LTs; Borla exhaust, et cetera; just like the song says, "I'm hooked on a fillin".

I'm done.
I'm building my own turbo setup. I'm not having it installed. I have axles, wheels, drag radials, stage 2 cam by ADM and supporting mods (installed by me), a lot of time on the dyno and more. Its a 2011 that I took apart with 200 miles on it. These things take a little time. I don't know everything, but I know a bit about this drivetrain having built several vettes in pretty much any way you can do one. I do not know your experience, ability or skills, so I will not say that you are out of your league here.

You got me on the floor mats and fancy stuff though, not that I'm interested in the penis measuring contest you started.

Lets just enjoy the cars. Some of us have found that an intake and a cam kit was better spent money. Lets leave it at that. I did not go the other route because it would be a waste of money considering my upcoming mods.

I would like to see a dyno sheet on the same car that shows a muffler delete being far inferior to an aftermarket catback.

We shouldn't have to mod our camaros to make them perform and sound as good as a mustang. Face it, Ford Built a great vehicle when the only answer we have any more is to mod ours to make them as good a mustang. Think about it.:(
