Borla ATAK Help
Okay new to Mod cars and have a small ? if i buy a Axle-Back ATAK Exhaust System would i need to buy the pipes and headers or can i install this buy its self. If you dont get what im saying go to this web site and this is all i want to install and im only asking if i can install this system by its self. Help please

you can install this all by itself but i would recommend catback system since the axle back requires cutting of the stock system
|

if you buy the axelback you will have to cut the stock exhaust then clamp that one on.. if you go for the catback you don't have to cut anything and it comes with the x pipe and everything that you need. you can do it with a lift it would be to hard on jack stands and i would suggest having someone help you because the stock exhaust is pretty heavy.

Hands down the best prices ive seen are from Maryland Speed. thats where i got my borla s-type from. my friend got the Atak Catback and it came the next day

You know I was thinking about getting the Axle back but I realized if I just went with the Cat back system I still can add the long tube headers w/cats later with little to no modifications. I was originally going to get the axle back but I would sacrifice sound quality and was going to get the ARH w/cats and x pipe. Overall, it would have saved me 300 bucks but hey a little more sound quality now and less labor later would definitely pay off

I am not sure if the Atak will work on a V6..but I am pretty certain it would sound terrible. That muffler is tuned for a V8.
