I suggest you do some searching.
There is plenty of information on the accessories all you have to do is look. Like fbodfather said, there is more information about this car than any other car in history before production.
Take a look at this

Dude you're missing the point. You can find information online but not from chevy.com or most dealers. As stated in an earlier post, Chevy/Camaro.com hasn't been updated since before the pre-order. The dealers that do have information got it from sites like this. I think GM has left dealers in the dark. I also don't feel it is the responsibility of a dealer to search for spyshots to show a customer what he is getting. It presents a very disjointed, unprofessional front. And as a paying customer, this is what I see.

The delay is no problem. I would rather wait and have a better car. Take all the time you need.

We don't like it any more than you do -- and the threads that 'broke out' today are just ONE of the problems we face with allocation.

(Why do you assume WE made the rules on allocation?)

Computers are cars are two wildly different things...........

As I said in an earlier post about allocation: Go talk to the guys from Honda that went to jail because they did not follow an 'allocation' plan.
Not our choice!

If we could build "first come, first served" we'd have happy customers -- and that's what we want. Alas, we must follow the law to the letter!

There's also far more interest and, far more to like, about the Camaro than the Malibu or Traverse. JMO.

Granted dealers were not well informed. I don't know what GM resources dealers have at their disposal, so I won't speculate if it was GM's or the dealers' fault, nor should anyone else. According to CamaroScotty, dealers did have info. to research at GM, but they had to look for it.

I can tell you this, I was an interested buyer, I had beaucoup info. amassed from Camaro5, I went to the dealer with that data and ordering could NOT have been any easier. An uniformed dealer, and mine was, just wasn't a problem whatsoever. The only buyer I can pity is the one without internet access.

EDIT: Think of it this way - who buys anything anymore without first researching it online?....especially a car!

Sorry, I just can't feel bad for anyone who puts money down on a car that apparently doesn't exist yet. At least not the final version according to certain GM people on this thread. Why would anyone put, especially non-rundable, money down on a car they have not seen, touched, or driven? Again, sorry, but you put money down on something without hardly any facts. You assume all the risks associated with that.

The dealers should know more than we do. They have access to all the same info that we have here plus what GM tells them. But the majority of them couldn't care less. There are a few exceptions of course.

See, that takes some of the challenge (and fun) out of it. I got an email one day from Pontiac regarding $3500 factory to dealer end of year incentive on new 2004 GTO's (Sept 04). I went out after work with a couple of my buddies, got a little tuned up, walked into the dealer and bought one. NEVER EVEN DROVE IT. Lady greeter at the front door asked me how she could help; I told her to find me a salesman who wants to sell one of the two Yellow Jacket GTO's out front. End of story- picked car up next day. THEN I drove it.

I have to agree. I went to my dealer yesterday only to find my fears to be true, that no one at that store at least even attended the viewing. When I spoke with my sales person I was not given a sense of comfort that they even knew how this was going to play out. I informed them that they would be getting a V6 by mid May. This they did not know.

My dealer had a pre-sales allocation of 5 units, of which I was number three to order. The way I have come to understand it, they may get an allocation of two per month, suspecting that one will be ordered as a V6, mine won't get allocated until June or July?

Most don't know jack squat. I ordered at a rather large dealer and even I used to shudder when I pick up the phone to call. Fortunately (sounds REALLY terrible) my salesman got very ill and left the dealership. That left me directly with the new car manager and I ordered directly with him on Oct 13th. He is very responsive to calls and questions from me. So, I'm cool with it all at the moment.
