Question Looking for good wall/hanging door guards for garage.

I have the pleasure of having to garage two 5th gen Camaros. However, with such wide door swings we're always concerned with hitting the other Camaro's door or the garage wall. We're looking for recommendations for wall guards and a hanging door guard to go between them. Anyone use them and have a strong recommendation from experience?

I had the same concern and came up with a really inexpensive solution.

Go down to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a 3/4" thick sheet of styrofoam insulation board. Nail, screw, or staple it to the wall where your Camaro's door might touch. The styrofoam is soft and will not damage the door edge.

You can make it more spacious when you park one head first close to the right side wall , then park the second tail in and close to the left side wall , this way you have the two pass/ doors up to the walls and when you go out or in will have all the space in between the two cars way more space .

had to put door guards on the wifes door as she was killing the drywall in the garage with her door constantly. they are black but i think they make the door look open a hair. ill take a pic.

I let the wife pull in head first and I back in. That way the passenger doors can be close because no one gets in those in the garage. We maximize the space for the drivers doors. I also put foam on the wall where her door can hit it and it is totally safe.

be careful though my wife thinks she has a tank now an just slings the door open as if i armor plated her door. she hit the wall so hard with the guard on it that it got a small ding in the door. i may still need something for the poor wall. she wanted them chrome and i said no f***ing way!

Get some pool noodles. It's a cheap solution. I've seen them at the dollar store.

I only have one car but---

There is a bunch of stufff, lawnmover, bicycles et al that take up the other half. I put close cell foam (the dense white stuff) on the garage wall, then hung a sheet of it from the ceiling between the passenger door and the bakes etc. It just swings there but if you open that door it gets pushed against anything that the door might otherwise hit. Looks stupid, sometimes a bit in the way, but works great

tight space between cars...this has prevented dents and saved me hundreds of $ and stress!!!!

it is made of cardboard and stays on by a strip of magnet. I clean the magnet side often even though it is hardly ever dirty.
