I am afraid to mention the cost of a SC because she would think I am crazy for even considering spending that much on an add-on for the car, especially after paying an insane $36K. Needless to say, she's an A-to-B driver and would rather I spent the money on something more practical like a new kitchen, etc.

If your spouse or significant other in 'on board' then consider yourself lucky.:(
I know how you feel. I have an amazing husband that loves my car- BUT he can't understand why I want a CAI and why I spend tons of time listening and watching YouTube videos of exhaust systems. He says if you spend almost 40K on a car......blah blah blah. Then I tell him to sit there and look pretty.

My wife calls it Camaro porn but I have to give credit jhmurphy's wife for the term. He told her that was what his wife came up with.

No problems here except that she is a bigger fan of the challenger. Oh well. Cant win them all.

HAHA that's one of the only complaints my wife has, I'm always taking turns fast (especially on/off ramps) and ranting and raving how well the car hugs the ground. haha during the first few days she complained (rightly so) about the jerky ride since I hadn't drivin a 6 speed in over 2 years. But now that I got the hang of it she doesn't mind riding with me. Other than the fact she's short and can't really see. lol she does enjoy all the attention it gets and how happy it makes me. hehe...now I just gotta start convincing her on mods

My birthday is this month, all I want is a set of Pedders lowering springs and struts... or a snow meth kit... comeon baaaaaaabe!
My hubby likes my car but he loves his more, the Vette. He could care less either what I do to it and never asks to drive it. The most he'll do is gas it up if I need him too but other than that his love is he Ebony Vette and mine is my Lady Bug.

My wife is completely over the .8g turns and the random breaking traction for 30 feet grabbing 4th... I didn't buy it to drive it like a Honda commuter so she knows to keep her head on the head rest during shifting

No spousal issues here . The Camaro is my baby and he has his, an 85 Vette, which he's modded to be street driven and run the 1/4 mile. Basically, I've been given free reign to do what I want with my car, when I want and no questions asked!

hub was against me getting a camaro, thought nothing was wrong with my charger... so after much begging and complaining ( a womans gotta do what a womans got to do!) he finally caved but refused to allow the SS.... I had to settle for a 2lt. After visiting with the vette club in atlanta and mti racing this past weekend, he is kicking himself for not letting me get the v8! now.... to save for that turbo charger.....
