LSX Shootout

Bitter sweet weekend for me guy's.

After the cruise all the cars went up for 3 passes down the track. I got up to line, did a burnout and lost almost all power in "Satan's Daughter". When the light turned green all i could do is just look at it and with the pedal to the floor in ran a 13.8. (i think the V6 camaro behind me beat that time

The cool part about being 1 of 4 LPE cars there is that i basically had my own pit crew on the sidelines. They immediately jumped on my problem and tried everything they could to correct it.

Big thanks to Brent, John, Jason, Graham, Paul and i know im missing some other ppl that helped out, but thank you guys as well.
They diagnosed the problem as a collapsed hi-flow cat.

I waited and planned for four months for the shoot-out, only to be out of the competition after just an hr of being there. Shit happen's, but i was just glad to make it.

I met a lot of great ppl and got some amazing advice from our favorite guy's at LPE.

ARH are overnighting me some new hi-flow cats and as soon as i get the car on the lift, i let you guys know what i find.
Im hoping it just collapsed and folded instead of breaking apart and also clogging my mufflers.

More to follow......

Mybad, i posted the bitter part, but forgot about the sweet!

As most of you already know by now, we had two LPE Camaro's going head to head for the win with the LPE car pulling it off and making a remarkable pass considering the heat and the humiditiy mother nature slammed on us. I got to be right there with Paul and the LPE crew during the entire thing and im still grinning ear to ear!

Thanks guys for a great weekend!

Cats generally melt as opposed to fragment. Replacing the cat should be all you need.

Hey Guys! Looks like everyone is still having fun! Sorry I have not been around much lately, that work thing is getting in the way of everthing else right now. Good news is things are going great, just cant go fast enough to meet demand. I guess it is the best kind of problem to have now a days.
I cant wait to hit SEMA for a few days of something else, and a chance to meet everyone! I guess I will have to do some serious shopping while out there for a little payback to me.
Congrats for the guys at the LSX shootout!!!!

Ok... Season is over for me in SCCA NER Autocross.
I finished the year in 4th place in my division (street mod).
I am pretty happy with that as I ran most of the season on street tires.
I had pretty stiff competition as two of the people in my division finished 2nd and 3rd place in the nationals in my class.

Very stiff competition with two drivers on the podium at the Nationals. You deserve our congratulations and some Aussie beer!

Congratulations Dan!!!!!!

Impressive! Wish I could make it to SEMA and meet up with all the LPE owners, but work getting crazy busy again. I'll have to hold out till Cfest!

If you call NASA and ask them to come watch their next launch, then you will have an idea of what its like to watch Pauls car in action.

Heck, I 'd like to just SEE my car, let alone watch Paul's do the 1/4. Lingenfelter delayed completion for a week from this friday.

It's hard waiting.... but worth it. Hang in there.
