Scott, thanks for letting us know the real scoop. I am a little disappointed though that the Z28 won't be shown in Jan. as I had hoped. But... I know that you and the Camaro/Z28 Team will not release the car until it is ready to take on all comers. Patience is a virtue but the Z28 is a lust. Thanks again and good luck in your new position. Please feel free to keep all of us updated on the Z28 as you feel fit to do so.

I am on www.notgonnahappen.com and see nothing about the Camaro or the Z28. What gives? And how come you guys never bring out a new model in Middle America...like say Cedar Rapids, IA?

My money is on the Chicago show. Of course, I happen to conveniently live in Chicago and that would work out great for me, but that's my guess.

I think it would be fun if they had a empty display with a sign "future Z here". Or even better a Camaro under wraps that never gets unvieled with "2012 Z28" sign above it. Make sure it is close to the Mustang displays It would definetly cause some buzz!

How about a supercharged Camaro, will one of those be there?

At this point the Z/28 might as well go after the Boss, like it did in the old days. Call this supercharged monster another name. I mean the auto manufacturers keep bringing back the good ole days, why not keep the Z/28 name for a corner carver?

Sounds like to me it's really going to debut early.I seem to remember them saying the 'vert wasn't going to be out before March/April "11,and now it's supposed to be in dealer's in February.--
