Guys what was the delivery method on this? USPS or a private carrier?

Just wanna know if I need to keep running down to the mail center today or if it's coming to my door. My guess is USPS since there wasn't a tracking number.

Thanks.

I ordered on Wednesday and it's supposed to come in today. That's super fast when you consider theyre all custom made and I had a Sunday in there with no mail.

We have delivery confirmation numbers on each package, so we know when it gets delivered.
Apparently they could not deliver this and left you a notice about it on Saturday.
It should be at the post office.
I sent you the online information to your email address.

Thanks, Roger

Roger - got mine today - fantastic quality & services, as always - thanks. As promised here's my install pic - text on the bottom is my VIN # 3434 and Build Date 4/15/2009.

Many thanks to Rodger for his work on these and patience with us while waiting on GM's approval.

Tip if not already posted - when re-installing hood liner once bow tie is on be sure that the lower 4 tabs on the hood liner are inserted into the hood - I missed that the first time.

Ok this is frustrating now. There was no notice in my mail box, I checked again today to be sure. Went down to post office..."Well we have it in our records as being here, but I can't find it..."

So best they can do is call me when/if they find it... I usually check with vendors ahead of time to see if I can pay extra for UPS/FedEx but I forgot this time. USPS never ever delivers anything to me without me having to jump through hoops. They are always just plain awful.

It's not Roger's fault by any means, but damn this is annoying to pay $180 for something and then they lose it. Fingers crossed though....

Matt,

I just want to make sure I completely understand.
They say they have it at your local post office, but cannot find it?
I have never hear that one before.
Do you want me to call them up?
Did you show them the online information I sent to you?

We can ship UPS, but they are generally more expensive. Another good idea if USPS is always giving you a hard time, is insure the package.
If they lose it they have to pay the claim.

We actually had ups deliveries here, that were said to be delivered but never were. We contacted UPS about it, and found out they had a new driver, and he only said he made the Deliveries.
So they had to pay for the packages. Now UPS will not deliver to my house, unless we are here to sign for each and every package. This is now their policy with us, and wasn't even our fault.

I am sure they have only temporarily misplaced it.

Thanks, Roger

Roger, you're correct. They are saying the computer shows its there, but they can't physically find it. I showed them the tracking and they agreed it should be there, but they couldn't find it. I don't think it'd do any good to get you involved, though I do appreciate the offer. Ill keep you posted, hopefully this gets resolved quickly.

The problem with USPS is that I live in an apartment. USPS won't deliver parcels to my door and won't leave them at the office either. So if it doesn't fit in the mailbox I have trouble. UPS and FEDEX both will leave packages with the office, I have no idea why USPS refuses to.

Please keep me up to date on this, I would almost think even if it is not insured. They would be responsible for this. I will help you out as much as I can. My gut feeling is that they will find it. Also what they are supposed to do for packages unclaimed, is mail them back to me.

Thanks, Roger

Being a Letter Carrier myself, I have no idea why they would not leave a package at the Apartment Office, that does not need a signature. I know I have done stuff like that. You need to talk to your carrier if you get a chance. Maybe if you give him/her a signed note telling him/her your desire to have packages left at the office it should be no problem.
