Eh, the cost difference for insurance and gas is minimal. It's the initial cost of the actual vehicle that makes the difference in the majority of cases.

Dude, I didn't get the car I wanted until I was over 10 years past my graduate degree. If you can do it that soon, freakin' go for it! I promise you, it will go by faster than you think (and I'm only 36 now).

Never will be racing it either, why drop thousands in a bigger engine and thousands more making it go faster if you only can really speed once a blue moon? Majority of V8 owner do not enter any competitions do they? I may get the upcoming Z28 for a little competition, but the 2LT may be faster by then... |
