Ken Block's ford fiesta is a different story. It cost $150,000 I've heard...the thing is ridiculous!

I hate threads like this, they just run in circles....I have no intention of hating on v6 owners or their cars, just thought that comment was funny

a ls3 is a tuners wet dream... a GM v6 not so much ... man making a v6 camaro 1000hp

Hahaha I love the tuner's wet dream analogy! But seriously... I don't even know how a 1000hp v6 in a camaro makes sense. In a ford fiesta, sure.... but not the camaro.

Owning both I can say the V6 is a great car. Certainly no "shame" in owning one. I got the SS for myself because I enjoy racing and wanted the extra power.

try $550 a month for a 2LT/RS, my window sticker was also 37k We get raped in Canada. You wouldnt believe the number for the SS, so i wont post simply because you guys wont believe it. Oh and this is with an absolute clear record and good student distcount etc.
And to top that off, our gas quite a bit more expensive here, 1.08 for a litre, and 1.20 for premium
Huge difference in price. Our 2SS/RS is in the price range of a corvette in the States. Insurance and gas was the main deal breaker for me.

Damn! I am not moving to Canada in the future LOL. I got my 2SS for 34k, $100 over invoice + the $1,000 credit union discount...

That's nuts!

It's $3.23 for a gallon of 91 octane here in my area...

I completely agree with you. My current Grand Prix GXP is my first V-8. I said I'd never go back to a 6, but now I see that the V6 in the Camaro is as powerful as my V-8, so no loss in power, and it's certainly powerful enough for me since I'm not going to race it. It gets up and goes! I totally agree with you too about the overall price, insurance and gas. Looking forward to my 2LT next summer!!
