Does Onstar use flatbed tow trucks or do I need to specifically ask the advisor for one?

It really depends on the tow service called. I know when I had a problem with my CTS they sent a flatbed. Of course that tow was because they didn't tighten the bolts on my diff enough and it basically fell out! lol

Needless to say I haven't gone to that dealer anymore.

They ask what type of vehicle you have when they transferr you to the onstart roadside assistance people. usually its a flatbed and for the camaro...it will be a flatbed...mine was towed yesterday...so i know..

and you can tow to the dealer of your choice (within reason)

Cost me an extra 45 bucks to tow it to the dealer i had just come from as it was 9 miles further than the closes dealership...
