I guess I'm a bit grumpy today - but Neiman-Marcus comes to Chevrolet and says "we love your new Camaro - -we'd like to do a limited edition car for our Christmas Catalog" --

........and we say yes.

.........and they sell out in THREE MINUTES.........a record for even Neiman Marcus....

I think the car is BEAUTIFUL! Would I buy one? HECK YES! (IF I could afford one!)

It's not for everybody, but then again neither is the 'regular' Camaro.

it's dark purple with a brownish flop. I think it looks awesome.

For the record I love that color/stripe combo. I would pick it up in a second if they had it when I bought my car. I think it looks really classy. Like a Cadillac color.

The car is nice. But what so special about it? The colors and wheels? I'm not bashing it but it's hardly worth two camaro's. You run them down the assembly line with the special color, put the special colors in the iterior, put the special rims on. This isn't worth another $30K.. This is how car companies and corporations ruin a good thing with their greed. they would have doen better charging say $5K more than sticker including delivery on an unlimited run until christmas.

Because the price is an example of corporate greed. The car is nice.. the price is an insult to peoples intelligents. I aways said you don't have to be smart to be rich. It just happens or you are born into it.

How do we know how much Chevy is charging NM? They could be giving them a deal for buying 100 and selling them right at regular invoice for all we know (doubt it but still...). That said, I do agree that it's not an SLP, not a Hennessey, not a <insert highly modded name>, etc and to simply have a $75k retail because it's a NM "special edition" is just ridiculous. Doesn't mean it's Chevy's fault.
